Calow Bowls Club meets at their green at the edge of Eastwood Park.

Calow Cricket Club uses the Recreation Ground and welcomes new members.

Spire Rangers Jfc runs football teams for juniors and uses the Recreation Ground along with other venues.

There is a popular children's play area in Eastwood Park where there are swings, slides etc. There are also a number of pieces of keep fit equipment for adults.

A further children's play area is at the end of Allpits Road, next to the Community Centre.
