1970s-80s - Calow Gala on Calow Recreation Ground

Calow Galas were held in the 1970s and 80s on the Recreation Ground (formerly Calow Miner's Welfare Ground). Organised by members of Calow Miner's Welfare Working Men's Club they featured music, parades, exhibitions and dancing.
